Acted for ARA Group (now acquired by ESR) on the design and construction contract for 320 Pitt Street, Sydney.

Acted for RSL Lifecare on various design and construct contracts for its retirement village and aged care facility buildings, drafting their template consultant’s agreement and construction contracts, and defending and settling head contractor security of payment claims.

Acted for North Sydney Council on the drafting and negotiation of the construction contract for the redevelopment of North Sydney Olympic Pool, including providing advice during construction.*

Acted for Moreau Kusunoki Genton, the architect for the new Powerhouse Museum at Parramatta, and Genton alone, each in relation to the professional services contract with Infrastructure NSW, and for Genton alone in relation to its project arrangements with Moreau Kusunoki and the novation of the professional services contract to Lendlease.*

Acted for NSW Ports and Sydney Ports Corporation on the drafting and negotiation of the project documents for, and advising in connection with, the proposed Bulk Liquids Berth 2 (BLB2) at Port Botany, including the long-term operational licences with the users of BLB2.*

Acted for John Holland on the negotiation of the maintenance facility design and construct contract for the NSW Rolling Stock public-private partnership (PPP) and on the negotiation of project documents for its bid as part of the Macquarie Bank / UGL / John Holland consortium for the Orange and Associated Health Services PPP.*

Advised on Prohibition Orders issued by the NSW Building Commissioner to Merhis Group.

Acted for the Receiver of a national contractor in claims across various solar projects in Queensland and New South Wales.

Acted for Consolidated Contracting Company as a joint venture partner with McConnell Dowell in ICC arbitrations exceeding $800m in respect of the QCLNG Project (and various downstream claims on that project and APLNG Project)*.

Acted for First Solar on the delivery of numerous EPC solar projects including the largest in Australia at the time at Broken Hill, Nyngan and sites across Australia including those impacted by the insolvency of RCR Tomlinson*.

Acted for Emerson Electric in a project dispute against NBN Co involving over 2000 variations and disputed EOT claims (as well as downstream claims involving SILCAR- a Thiess joint venture) across five states*.

Acted in a number of landmark construction project decisions, including acting for Lend Lease, John Holland and CSR and others in both the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal in New South Wales and Victoria across defence, industrial, civil and energy projects.
