First Solar
Acted for First Solar on the delivery of numerous EPC solar projects including the largest in Australia at the time at Broken Hill, Nyngan and sites across Australia including those impacted by the insolvency of RCR Tomlinson.
FRV
Advised FRV on the acquisition and development of the Goonumbla Solar Farm (77MWac) and the sale of Clare Solar Farm to DIF and Lighthouse.
Acted for a global renewable energy investor on the acquisition of two utility scale solar development projects in Victoria, including JV funding arrangements.
Ross River Solar Farm
Advised Ross River Solar Farm on its acquisition by Palisade.
Enel Green Power
Advised Enel Green Power in relation to the acquisition and development of the Bouldercombe Solar Farm.
Pellicano
Represented Pellicano on the introduction of third party equity by Sunsuper into an existing investment trust worth $300 million.
Goodman Australia
Advised on the A$1 billion capital raising and stapling of units by the Goodman Australia Industrial Fund; the A$750 million restructure of the Goodman Industrial Trust; and the first stage of its global JV with Malaysia's Employees Provident Fund, a A$500 million investment in Australian logistics real estate assets.
Advised the Macquarie-led underbidder consortium in their structure and bid during the 2013 sale of Port Botany and Port Kembla, ultimately acquired by NSW Ports consortium for A$5 billion.
Leighton Holdings
Advised on the acquisition of a 70% stake in the Nextgen Networks joint venture with Leighton Holdings, a total enterprise value of A$885 million; as well as the Ontario Teachers-led consortium on its 2012 acquisition of a 50-year lease in the Sydney desalination plant from the Government of New South Wales at a cost of A$2.3 billion.
Jellinbah Group
Advised the Jellinbah Group on their acquisition of a 50% interest in the Boonal Joint Venture.
Consolidated Contracting Company
Acted for Consolidated Contracting Company as a joint venture partner with McConnell Dowell in ICC arbitrations exceeding $800m in respect of the QCLNG Project (and various downstream claims on that project and APLNG Project).
Peabody Group
Advised the Peabody Group in relation to its Red Mountain joint venture with BHP Mitsui Coal. This involved complex infrastructure sharing arrangements associated with the Millennium and Poitrel mines.
Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd
Advised Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd in relation to its BMA joint venture with BHP.
Mitsui Coal Holdings
Advised Mitsui Coal Holdings on a complex exercise of the preemptivand subsequent sale of its interest in the Dawson seam gas assets. This transaction involved three separate joint ventures and multiple vendors and purchasers including, Anglo American, Westside Corporation Limited, Mitsui E&P Australia Pty Ltd and Molopo Energy Limited.
QGC Pty Limited
Advised QGC Pty Limited on its acquisition of Petroleum Exploration Australia Pty Ltd and subsequent joint venture arrangements with Central Petroleum Limited.
