Andrew Vincent

Partner

Andrew is a finance and restructuring specialist at Hamilton Locke. With an impressive background in top-tier financing transactions, Andrew’s practice is now focused on private credit financing transactions, coupled with a particular expertise in insolvency and restructuring.

Andrew has extensive experience advising on corporate and structured finance, real estate finance, acquisition finance as well as project finance. He is well known in the private credit market, counting Merricks, Qualitas, Argyle Square, iPartners, Privity, Banner Asset Management and others as clients. He is equally highly regarded in the restructuring space, working with insolvency practitioners including McgrathNicol, KordaMentha, PwC, Newpoint and Aston Chase over the same period. His front-end experience and knowledge, coupled with back-end insolvency/restructuring expertise, makes him an ideal operator in complex private lending deals, distressed or non-distressed. The combination of skills, at the intersection of private credit and insolvency, is what makes Andrew such a unique and sought-after lawyer in the market.

Andrew’s style is straight-talking and solutions-focused, but with a strong commercial mindset focused on speed and accuracy of execution. He has built a quality team around him, including two senior associates and five lawyers.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Andrew worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia and King & Wood Mallesons in Australia, and Allen & Overy, LLP in the United Kingdom.
