Sam advises a diverse range of clients, including financial institutions, fintechs, insurers and wealth managers, on a spectrum of regulatory and compliance matters. He has a particular interest in emerging financial products and technologies, which informs his advice on innovative strategies and market developments. Sam has also completed a Master of Laws at The University of Sydney specialising in international and sustainable finance, enhancing his judgment on complex regulatory issues impacting modern financial markets.
Before joining Hamilton Locke, Sam worked as an Analyst in Deloitte’s Forensic Investigations team, where he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and risk management. He is also admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
