Hannah Jones

Senior Associate

Hannah enjoys a challenge and is passionate about working with a diverse team to gain a range of perspectives when solving complex issues. She is a dedicated team player and approaches her work in a friendly and diligent manner working towards a shared goal with her team and clients.

Hannah specialises in a broad range of corporate transactions and M&A, including acquisition and disposal of shares, businesses, and assets, private equity transactions and general corporate advisory.

Hannah has experience working with clients undertaking Energy M&A, particularly in renewable energy. Hannah has also worked with clients across a range of other industry sectors including technology and consumer goods.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Hannah worked at global law firm DLA Piper in Manchester where she worked on several high profile transactions before relocating to DLA Piper in Sydney. Hannah also spent time in Sydney for three months as part of the DLA Piper Global Secondment Development Programme.

  • Advising Birdwood Energy on AUD2 Billion Distributed Energy Partnership with super fund, Aware Super.
  • Advising JUWI on the sale of the 400MW Hay Plains Wind Project and 175MW Ardandra Solar Project, with an anticipated 400MWh of battery storage to Octopus Investments Australia.
  • Acting for the Cordina family on the sale of Cordina Farms to global private equity firm PAG.
  • Acting for the Qscan Group on the acquisition of Envision Medical Imaging, a full-service radiology business based in Western Australia.
  • Acting for Alceon Private Equity on its investment in EFEX.
  • Acting for ATI Global on its acquisition of Groundsure, a UK environmental search authority, from Ascential plc for £170 million.*
  • Advising insurance law firm Keoghs LLP on its sale to professional services and technology business Davies Group.*
  • Advising Endless, a mid-market private equity investor, on the acquisition of UK independent omni-channel outdoor furniture retailer, Moda Furnishings.*
  • Advising the partners of Willows Veterinary Group on their sale of the business and shares to VetPartners.*
  • Advising the management team of MeetingZone on the disposal to LoopUp Group plc for approximately £60 million.*
  • Advising Vespa Capital on its investment in domain name business Com Laude group and the subsequent bolt on acquisition of Demys.*
  • Advising Nichols plc on the acquisition of various companies in the drinks sector.*
