Simon’s interest in the law and his passion for business and equity markets initially led him to a role as an Adviser in the Listings Compliance team at the ASX. He now enjoys working closely with clients to provide effective solutions through the delivery of efficient, practical and commercial advice. Simon is recognised for his professional drive and his methodical approach to his work.
As a corporate lawyer, Simon specialises in initial public offers, spin-outs, backdoor listings, placements, rights issues, securities purchase plans, ASX Listing Rules and JORC compliance. He has experience advising listed companies in a range of industries, including the energy and resources, medtech and biotech sectors.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Simon worked for HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, the ASX and Bellanhouse Lawyers.
