Kaday is a dual-qualified practitioner with a wealth of experience drawn from working in the UK and Australia in the property and development space. Her appetite for tackling new challenges has led her to establish a unique cross-disciplinary practice, which embraces both property and energy and infrastructure projects. This breadth of experience enables her to provide commercially pragmatic solutions for clients.
Kaday advises on a range of property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, co-ownership arrangements, complex leasing across a range of different asset classes, managing large scale portfolio due diligence, and land and tenure arrangements for energy projects.
In addition to her significant real estate expertise, Kaday provides specialised advice to resources companies operating within the African mining sector and assists with contractual documentation and negotiations in both Anglophone and Francophone countries.
Kaday is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusivity for ethnic minority professionals across the legal industry and is Co-Founder of the Society of African Australian Lawyers Inc. (a not-for-profit aimed at mentoring and creating networking opportunities for lawyers of African heritage, and improving their visibility)
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Kaday worked for King & Wood Mallesons and Clayton Utz in Perth and Stephenson Harwood in London and Singapore. Kaday also gained inhouse experience with secondments to the legal teams of BHP in Perth and GLA Land and Property (a subsidiary of the Greater London Authority) in the UK.
