Hamilton Locke is thrilled to have acted for MA Financial Group’s growth capital team, MA Growth Ventures, on its recent $20 Million investment into Upstream, as featured in the Australian Financial Review (AFR).
Upstream produces solar energy for many major clients, including ANZ and Beacon Lighting.
The multi-disciplinary team at Hamilton Locke was led by Partner and Head of Finance Zina Edwards and included Special Counsel Monty Loughlin and Lawyer Mai Dang.
The corporate aspects of the transaction were led by Special Counsel Joshua Bell, with the energy and property aspects of the diligence process by Partner Matt Baumgurtel, Special Counsels Adriaan van der Merwe and Kaday Conteh and Lawyers William Ryan and Poulad Berenjforoush.
