Maddie Morgan

Maddie Morgan is an experienced Agribusiness lawyer in the Hamilton Locke Private team.

Maddie is a trusted advisor to private clients on succession and business planning, structuring, wills and estate planning, asset protection and tax matters (including stamp duty). She also advises on estate administration and acts in estate litigation matters including family provision applications.

Maddie is technical and commercially focussed in her practice. She is dedicated to providing excellent and accessible legal services to rural and agribusiness clients and is often travelling to regional areas in Queensland. Maddie is proud to be from a rural background and remains actively involved in her family’s farming and livestock business in South-East Queensland.

She is also involved in several committees and organisations across the industry as the Founder of the Women in Ag network and Committee Member of the Next Gen Committee for Beef Australia 2027. Maddie was also the Vice-Chair of the Young Beef Producers Forum (YBPF) Committee for three years from 2022 – 2025 and a Committee Member on the Stud Cattle Committee for Beef Australia 2024.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Maddie worked at BDO Australia in the Corporate & International Tax team.
