Hamilton Locke advises BNRG Leeson on the sale of its Corop project

Hamilton Locke is pleased to have advised BNRG Renewables and the Leeson Group on the sale of the Corop solar and battery farm to OX2. The Corop project becomes OX2’s second owned-and-operated asset in Australia.

The Corop project is planned to have a capacity of 230MW of solar generation and 740MWh battery and was also announced as a winner of round 4 of the Federal Government’s Capacity Investment Scheme.

Headquartered in Dublin with operations in the US, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia, BNRG Renewables is a developer and operator of solar projects. Since 2007, BNRG Renewables have worked alongside its development, technology and investment partners to finance, build, manage and own solar farms that today produce more than 150,000 MWh of clean electricity, with more than 5.5 GW of active projects in the development pipeline.

Leeson Group is an Australian renewable energy developer with a diverse portfolio spanning solar technology and project development. Its portfolio includes Volt Solar Tile, Leeson Solar, and BNRG Leeson, a partnership with BNRG Renewables focused on developing solar projects across Australia.
