Miranda has specialised in property law for many years and has a particular interest in commercial leasing and commercial property acquisitions & disposals.

Miranda was previously a solicitor at a New Zealand firm, Anderson Creigh Lai, which joined Hamilton Locke in January 2023 with the establishment of Hamilton Locke New Zealand. She previously worked at a large Auckland law firm for a number of years and then as an in-house lawyer.

  • Advising a major telecommunications company in New Zealand on its New Zealand-wide property portfolio (leasing and licencing).
  • Assisting a national milk nutrition company on its sale and lease-back of a canning facility.
  • Advising an Australian multinational retail & commercial bank on its property portfolio (including commercial offices and ATMs).
  • Assisting one of New Zealand’s largest retirement village providers on its proposed property acquisitions.
  • Providing property law advice to a council-controlled organisation.
