Hamilton Locke is delighted to have assisted Botanical Water Technologies on a recent transaction with Fujitsu regarding the development of a first of its kind blockchain water trading platform.
Botanical Water Technologies (BWT) in a world-first, has discovered a new sustainable and renewable source of potable water utilising award-winning globally patented technology that harvests the water naturally stored in plants. BWT will play a major role in alleviating the world’s water problem by delivering clean and safe drinking water to 100 million of the world’s most vulnerable people by 2025.
Fujitsu will be drawing on its extensive industry knowledge and technology to assist BWT launch the “Botanical Water Exchange” platform which enables the secure and transparent trading of water purified by BWT’s patented water purification process, including the refinement, sales, purchase, delivery, and usage of potable water.
