Hamilton Locke Appoints Property Partner, Margot King

Hamilton Locke has appointed its newest property partner Margot King, who joins the Sydney office bringing the total number of partners to 38 nationally.

Margot advises developers and investors on projects and property transactions and has particular expertise in urban regeneration projects, infrastructure projects and renewables projects. She is experienced in leading transactions and project implementation and compliance. 

Margot has a multi-disciplinary background, having commenced practice in energy and resources projects, before moving on to private equity transactions and real estate projects for developers and pension funds.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Margot was Sydney office, Head of Real Estate at Piper Alderman and worked in-house as a project lawyer for Walker Corporation on the Parramatta Square project.
