Hamilton Locke has advised Cedar Pacific on the acquisition of the Wolli Creek site in Sydney, which will be home to its first sustainable co-living development.
Located adjacent to Wolli Creek train station and within the Discovery Point masterplan, the project is proposed to deliver 217 furnished studio apartments over eight levels, targeting a 5-Star Green Star Buildings rating and utilising a Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) structural system to enhance sustainability and construction efficiency.
It was a privilege to support Cedar Pacific on this strategic acquisition and to play a part in bringing professionally managed, sustainable rental accommodation to a key transit-oriented location in Sydney.
Commenting on the acquisition, Hamilton Locke Partner Sarah Roettgers said: “It has been a privilege to partner with Cedar Pacific on a strategic acquisition that will help set a new benchmark for sustainable co-living in Sydney.”
A big thank you to the Cedar Pacific team and our Hamilton Locke team including Sarah Roettgers, Matthew Butchard, Catherine Nufer and Debra Lucas for their collaboration and hard work throughout the process.
