Hamilton Locke has been working alongside Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe (UK) LLP in advising Egress, a leader in adaptive and integrated cloud email security solutions, on the Australian aspects of negotiations of a definitive agreement for its acquisition by KnowBe4, a global leader and provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform.
Egress Intelligent Email Security offers AI-enabled security tools designed to defend organisations against increasingly sophisticated email threats.
The integration of Egress’ advanced cloud email security solutions with KnowBe4’s expertise in security awareness training on completion of the transaction will enable them to offer the largest, advanced AI-driven cybersecurity platform for managing human risk.
