His experience spans a wide array of matters, from advising on joint venture structuring, royalty agreements, mining contracts and, more broadly, mergers and acquisitions. Rob’s background in the sector allows him to anticipate issues and identify opportunities for risk mitigation, empowering his clients to operate with confidence in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Rob worked in the Energy and Natural Resources team at Squire Patton Boggs. Rob has also gained experience working directly in the mining and energy sector, working for both Fortescue Metals Group and Fortescue Energy (formally Fortescue Future Industries). Rob is also appointed to the Young Mining Professionals (WA) Committee, which is part of the global Young Mining Professionals network.
