She has advised clients in the energy and mining industries on the establishment of new projects, the disposal and acquisition of major projects, the establishment of joint venture arrangements, joint operating agreements, farm-in arrangements, royalties and regulatory issues.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Marni worked for MinterEllison, Allens and Clayton Utz in Australia and BakerMcKenzie in London. Additionally, in 2022 Marni acted as a Senior Legal Counsel for Fortescue Future Industries, a global green energy company committed to producing green hydrogen from renewable sources, and in 2020 she acted as the Head of Legal for Ecora Resources PLC, a royalty and streaming company listed in London and Toronto.
