Jack is a corporate lawyer with international experience in advising clients on a range of corporate and commercial matters. He frequently assists both corporate and individual clients on a variety of cross-jurisdictional corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations, fundraisings and general corporate advisory work.

Jack has previously advised a broad spectrum of clients from global asset managers, listed entities, private equity, management teams and founders.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Jack worked at Mishcon de Reya LLP in London and previously at an international law firm in New Zealand.

  • Advising a client on its purchase of LEON Restaurants from ASDA Supermarkets.
  • Advising a global asset manager on its acquisition of the Manchester Fort Shopping Centre.
  • Advising a global real estate asset manager on its entry into various joint ventures with operating partners, with the assets under management including a substantial purpose built student accommodation portfolio comprising 1,250 beds across 11 university cities in the United Kingdom, and a large residential living portfolio across Sweden and Finland.
  • Advising a global commodity brokerage on its purchase of Blue Commodities LLP.
  • Advising Regnology on its acquisition of two technology companies.
  • Advising a NASDAQ-listed precious metals company on its acquisition of a shareholding in an English gold bullion business.
  • Advising the shareholder of Backgrid UK, a celebrity news agency, on the sale of its UK operations to Shutterstock, Inc (NYSE: SSTK).
  • Advising the founder of an EdTech company on the sale of a minority interest to a private equity fund.
