Daniel is a Perth-based corporate, commercial and securities lawyer who approaches his work in a disciplined, structured and regimented way, relying on tried and true legal principles combined in innovative ways to produce bespoke legal solutions in the best interests of the clients he represents.
Daniel‘s work spans equity capital markets transactions, public and private acquisitions and divestments (both cross-border and domestic), farm-in and joint ventures, corporate restructuring and corporate governance. Daniel primarily acts for businesses in the mining and resources, technology (including medtech) and professional services (including SaaS) industries, however, he also regularly assists businesses in the mining services, food & beverage and medicinal cannabis industries.
In addition to advising businesses on compliance with the ASX Listing Rules and Corporations Act, Daniel provides general corporate and commercial advice and assists businesses in formulating subscription and shareholders’ agreements, undertaking seed capital raisings and preparing and negotiating general service and supply agreements.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Daniel worked for national law firms HWL Ebsworth (Perth) and Piper Alderman (Brisbane) having commenced his legal career at a boutique law firm located in his hometown of the Gold Coast.
