Hamilton Locke advises Enel Green Power Australia on its partnership with QEM Limited (ASX: QEM) to deliver the Julia Creek Renewables Project

Hamilton Locke advised Enel Green Power Australia Pty Ltd (EGPA) on its partnership with QEM Limited (QEM) to deliver the Julia Creek Renewables Project.

This hybrid wind and solar renewables project is targeted to generate around one gigawatt of energy to power QEM’s vanadium mining and processing project and has the potential to contribute to Queensland’s renewable energy targets of 70% by 2032 and 80% by 2035.

Under the Project Sale Agreement, QEM will sell, and EGPA will acquire, among others, wind and solar monitoring equipment, data and intellectual property of engineering, environmental, geotechnical, flood plain and other project studies.
