  • Acting for MA Financial in relation to its $225M acquisition of a portfolio of 10 marinas assets located across NSW, Victoria and QLD (including negotiations with Crown Lands and other government departments in relation to key transaction documentation) and subsequently acting in relation to its expansion of this portfolio by its ~$53M acquisition of 3 additional marina assets.
  • Acting for various landlords and tenants in relation to major development leasing transactions, including the development of large-format supermarket premises (both standalone and forming part of mixed-use developments), childcare centres and gymnasiums.
  • Advising a major landowner in relation to an investigation by EPA NSW into the contamination of a significant landholding (including commissioning environmental site assessments, site audit statements, data gaps analysis and remediation action plans).
  • Acting for JY Group in relation to its $123.5M acquisition of Roxburgh Park Shopping Centre.
  • Acting for Centuria in relation to its $100.2M sale of West Ryde Marketplace and Pemulwuy Marketplace shopping centres.
  • Managing the off-the-plan sale of 30 residential lots within a large-scale land subdivision (including initial put and call option arrangements with the developer and ancillary cost-sharing agreements relating to the performance of civil works).
  • Prior in-house secondment experience with an ASX-listed real estate investment trust (Legal Counsel) and University (Senior Property Lawyer).
  • Acting for various insolvency practitioners (including receivers, liquidators and administrators) in relation to distressed real estate sale transactions across residential, commercial and industrial asset classes.
