Jessica is a lawyer with four years’ post-qualification experience, with her speciality in the Insolvency & Restructuring field, advising directors, creditors, and insolvency practitioners across the full spectrum of corporate and personal insolvency matters.
Jessica’s approach is grounded in commercial pragmatism and recognises that insolvency and restructuring work sits at the intersection of legal risk and cash-flow reality and she tailors her advice accordingly. She works closely alongside external administrators, liquidators, and lenders to keep strategy aligned with the practical constraints of a distressed business and prides herself on clear and direct communication that keeps clients informed at each stage of a matter.
Before specialising in insolvency and restructuring, Jessica practised in corporate and commercial law within the financial services sector, giving her a strong grounding in the transactional and regulatory context in which many of her insolvency matters arise. She is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia, and the High Court of Australia.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Jessica worked at Piper Alderman and Chamberlains. Jessica has also gained in-house experience at a global financial services firm at the commencement of her law career.
