Ali is a lawyer in the Workplace & Employment team at Hamilton Locke. She brings a well-rounded commercial foundation to her practice, having gained experience across Employment, Restructuring & Insolvency, Corporate M&A and Litigation & Dispute Resolution. Having worked across both the Sydney and Melbourne offices, Ali has built a strong network across the firm and approaches her work with a collaborative and inclusive attitude.
Ali has always been drawn to employment law for its human element, the diversity of matters and the dynamic nature of the practice area. She is passionate about helping organisations build fairer, stronger workplaces – advising clients not only on how to resolve issues, but how to prevent them. Her experience across front-end, back-end and advisory teams has equipped her with a broad skillset, and it is her passion for employment law that allows her to draw on her interpersonal skills to connect with clients and navigate sensitive issues with care.
Ali’s experience includes advising and representing clients on termination of employment, unfair dismissal, general protections claims, workplace investigations and restructures. She is committed to delivering practical, considered and solutions-focused advice that reflects both the legal and commercial reality.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Ali worked as a paralegal at Lavan and HopgoodGanim in Perth.
