Hamilton Locke Launches Perth Office and Expands Firm with Six New Partners

Hamilton Locke is pleased to announce the launch of its Perth office, with Corporate partners Shaun Hardcastle, Deanna Carpenter, Michael Boyce and Jeremy Newman joining from HWL Ebsworth. The four partners join as foundation partners of Hamilton Locke’s Perth presence. The partners have considerable expertise in ​equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions across all industries, including Michael Boyce’s significant expertise in mining and resources. The Perth partners are a leading ECM team in Perth, having advised on over 60 ECM deals in 2021, the second largest in WA, as well as over 20 M&A deals in 2021.

The Firm also announces the appointment of Finance partner, Tricia Moloney in Melbourne and Construction partner, Grant Parker in Sydney. Tricia is a banking and finance specialist focusing on project, property, acquisition and corporate finance. Grant has extensive experience providing contractual, project administration and advisory services to public and private sector clients.

In less than four years, the Firm has grown from 5 partners based in Sydney, to 37 partners with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and now Perth. Hamilton Locke has been recognized as one of Australia’s fastest growing law firms and now has a total headcount of over 100 professional staff.
