Hamilton Locke continues NZ expansion with hire of Corin Maberly

Hamilton Locke is growing our Trans-Tasman footprint, appointing Corin Maberly as a partner in our Auckland office.

Corin joins from Maberly & Co., the firm he founded in 2014 specialising in corporate and technology law.  Corin brings over 25 years’ experience to our firm, with a particular focus on government procurement, complex negotiations and transactions and risk and stakeholder management.

Nick Humphrey, CEO and Chair of HPX Group and Managing Partner of Hamilton Locke Australia, said: “Over the past decade, Corin has built a leading telecommunications, IT and projects practice, which is an excellent fit with our service offering to clients in both New Zealand and Australia.  Having founded his own firm, he also represents the entrepreneurial, ‘go-getter’ approach that is at the heart of our business. We’re very pleased to have him in the Hamilton Locke fold.”

Corin said: “Hamilton Locke has created a unique platform for providing legal services on both sides of the Tasman. The Group’s innovation and pioneering spirit aligns with my values and is a natural fit for me and my clients. I’m looking forward to joining this dynamic team.”

This is the latest milestone for Hamilton Locke New Zealand, which opened its first office in Auckland in January this year following the acquisition of boutique commercial law firm, Anderson Creagh Lai.
