Hamilton Locke advises Primewest on IPO

Hamilton Locke is pleased to have acted for Primewest on its initial public offering and listing on the Australia Securities Exchange on Friday, 8 November 2019.

The offer was successfully led by Hamilton Locke partner Patricia Paton and lawyer Matthew Bourke. Other advisers included Moelis Australia as lead manager, RSM Corporate Australia and PwC. The offer was co-managed by Shaw and Partners.

Following a successful $100 million offer, Primewest listed on the ASX with an opening market capitalisation of around $349 million.

Commenting on the transaction, Patricia Paton said: “This is an exciting transaction for Primewest and one that Hamilton Locke was thrilled to be part of, in what has shown to be a difficult equities market this year”.
