Bulletin: Registration and project bids closing soon for the 6GW Capacity Investment Scheme tender

Registration and project bids are closing soon for Australia’s largest-ever single tender for renewable energy.

The 6 GW renewable electricity generation tender is currently open, but project proponents must register by 5pm (AEST) 19 June 2024 in order to submit the bids. Project bids will close at 5 pm (AEST) 1 July 2024.

This round of Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS) tender, namely CIS Tender 1 – NEM Generation, seeks to deliver 6 GW of renewable electricity generation across the National Electricity Market (NEM).
