Sophie is a real estate and agribusiness specialist who advises across all states and territories in Australia. Her agribusiness experience spans acquisitions and disposals of agricultural land and businesses, carbon farming, offsets and reef credit projects, water rights, easements, leasing and agistment agreements, mining compensation and land access agreements, renewable energy and property development.
Sophie has acted for a wide range of agricultural clients, including agricultural fund managers, family offices, foreign entities and key agricultural players, as well as publicly listed companies and property developers. While her primary focus is on rural and agribusiness properties, her experience also extends across commercial and industrial properties.
Sophie takes a practical approach in drafting and negotiating for her clients and focuses on delivering timely advice while securing the best possible commercial terms for her clients. She takes pride in developing long term relationships with her clients and assisting across their full property portfolios. Sophie lives on a cattle station in the Northern Territory, giving her agribusiness clients a trusted adviser with first-hand understanding of the practical and commercial realities they face on the land.
