Nimrod is a Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyer with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters arising out of distressed situations. Nimrod primarily advises on front-end restructuring matters including safe harbour, distressed investing, informal restructurings and formal insolvencies. Nimrod has advised a wide range of stakeholders in relation to complex transactions including credit funds, secured creditors, strategic investors and insolvency practitioners.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Nimrod was a Solicitor in the Restructuring and Insolvency team at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers.

Acting for Hayden White and Daniel Woodhouse of FTI Consulting in their capacity as joint and several voluntary administrators of Calidus Resources Limited (and its subsidiaries) on the successful restructure of the group under 6 deeds of company arrangement and associated Court application pursuant to section 444GA of the Corporations Act.
Acting for Canaccord Genuity (Australia) Limited and Morgans Corporate Limited as the proponents of a deed of company arrangement entered into in respect of True North Copper Ltd (ASX: TNC) under which the proponents undertook and were the underwriters of a $50m placement which saw the company reinstated on the ASX.
Acting for the senior secured creditor of Ashby Mining Ltd (and its subsidiaries) on its enforcement and the appointment of receivers and managers and voluntary administrators over the group and the acquisition of the group by way of credit bid.
Acting for Brett Lord and Richard Stone of RSM Australia in their capacity as joint and several voluntary administrators and deed administrators of Infinite Water Holdings Limited on the company’s restructure under a deed of company arrangement and associated Court application pursuant to section 444GA of the Corporations Act.
