Kasumi has a considered and diligent approach to problem-solving. As a lawyer on the workplace and employment team, she combines genuine warmth with a strong work ethic, building trusted relationships with her clients and delivering thoughtful, practical solutions to complex employment matters.
Kasumi holds dual degrees in Law (Honours) and Creative Industries from the Queensland University of Technology, with a specialisation in media and marketing. This interdisciplinary background gives her a creative edge in legal practice, enabling her to approach complex problems from fresh angles and deliver well-rounded, commercially minded advice.
Before joining Hamilton Locke, Kasumi served as an Associate to a Senior Judicial Registrar at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. This role gave her firsthand insight into the court’s processes and procedures, strengthening her ability to guide clients through litigation and dispute resolution.
