Adrian is a Senior Associate in the Perth and Sydney offices.
Adrian specialises in complex commercial disputes, contentious insolvency and restructuring proceedings, and regulatory investigations. Adrian takes a hands-on, strategy-led approach to every matter and works closely with his clients to understand their commercial objectives before charting the most efficient path to resolution. He is known for taking early responsibility and for driving contested, long-running workstreams to completion, and prides himself on delivering decisive, practical outcomes in high-stakes and time-critical disputes. Adrian’s expertise encompasses commercial litigation, cross-border insolvency, and international arbitration. He has acted in a number of significant multi-jurisdictional disputes, including matters concerning breaches of director duties and the misuse of confidential information, large-scale liquidations, and shareholder and contractual disputes. Adrian also has particular experience in disputes involving digital assets and crypto insolvency, having advised liquidators on novel and unresolved questions of crypto and insolvency law and helped secure substantial recoveries for creditors and investors.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Adrian worked at Walkers in a number of the world’s leading global financial centres, where he acted as lead associate with primary responsibility for strategy, drafting, expert witness management and client communication across a number of high-profile and complex disputes and insolvencies. Prior to that, he was part of the Investment Protection and International Arbitration group at Clifford Chance, across its Hong Kong, Singapore and Perth offices. Adrian is admitted in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
