Abina is a lawyer in the Funds & Financial Services team, specialising in financial services regulation and corporations law. She takes a considered approach to her work and is committed to ensuring her clients receive clear advice and actionable solutions.
Abina’s experience in corporate and commercial law and her technical background in IT underpins her knowledge of the financial services industry. This enables her to deliver comprehensive and commercially astute outcomes to clients operating in the payments, credit, wealth management, financial markets, general insurance, digital assets, licensing and AML-CTF spaces.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Abina supported leading lawyers in commercial disputes, class actions and insurance. Her years of experience in litigation largely involved breaches of the Corporations Act and she continues to apply her dispute resolution skills to negotiate commercial agreements and to advise and mitigate litigation risk for her financial services clients.
