Hamilton Locke Lawyer Nele Bhebhe will speak at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) Investor Forum 2022 in The Hague, Netherlands.
Taking place next week between 12 – 13 October, more than 1,200 active and aspiring impact investors from over 60 countries are expected to attend.
Nele, a member of our Perth capital markets team, is also a Non-Executive Director of Innovest Advisory. It is in this latter capacity that he has been invited to speak at the GIIN Forum.
Nele will lend his voice and expertise to a panel discussion on “How Can We Legitimize Impact Claims? Trends in Auditing and Verification” which will dive into why impact assurance represents the next frontier of impact investing, and its important role in safeguarding the integrity of the market, how this can and should be designed, and key barriers this nascent market needs to first overcome.
Hosted by the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), the Forum is the largest in-person gathering of impact investors worldwide.
