Hamilton Locke Prepares Submission on Managed Investment Schemes Regulatory Framework

Hamilton Locke has made a submission to Treasury’s consultation paper “Review of the regulatory framework for managed investment schemes”, released in August 2023.

The consultation paper makes several enquiries to the regulatory framework applicable to managed investment scheme under Chapter 5C of the Corporations Act (Cth) and relevant financial services concepts that apply under Chapter 7 of the Act.

Our submission intends to contribute to the development of the law applicable to managed investment schemes under these chapters, drawing on the significant experiences of our funds and financial services team.
