The Blockies are industry awards that recognise the leadership, excellence and dedication of all individuals and businesses who have contributed to the growth and development of the Australian Blockchain Industry.
Over the last few years, Michele has established herself as a leading adviser in the fintech space, acting for and supporting clients spanning crypto exchanges, payment businesses, investment platforms, and token issuers, among many others. Her commitment and focus on staying ahead of the curve and being across the legal, industry and market developments (globally and locally) ensures she can deliver the best advice when her clients need it. Her focus on being at the forefront of the fintech space gives her an edge when working with her clients, and they see her as a trusted adviser ready to support them at all stages of their journey.
Importantly, Michele is dedicated to playing her role in shaping industry reform and regularly publishes articles and blogs relevant to her clients and peers who are engaged in or fascinated by the crypto sector. She has also played an active role in industry change and regularly contributes to and participates in industry events. Over 2022, Michele spoke at a range of events, with highlights including Blockchain Week 2022 and UNSW Legal Hour.
Michele has also had a positive impact on the sector through her contributions to key industry bodies, including Blockchain Australia and Fintech Australia, where she has actively contributed via authoring of submissions to Senator Bragg’s Crypto Bill as well as Treasury and ASIC consultation papers.
