Hamilton Locke named finalist for WA Legal Innovation of the Year

Hamilton Locke has been named a finalist for WA Legal Innovation of the Year by the Law Society of Western Australia.

This recognition celebrates our Da Vinci Development Program (DDP), an initiative redefining professional growth and reshaping what it means to push boundaries, develop new capabilities and gain fresh perspectives.

The DDP challenges convention by placing equal value on personal and professional development. It empowers our people to step beyond the ordinary, from hiking Mount Kilimanjaro to learning new skills or practising mindfulness, with financial support and additional paid leave to make it happen.

Participation has grown by 84% in FY24 and reached 92% firmwide in FY25, reinforcing our belief that when our people grow, our business grows.

In an industry often defined by tradition, we continue to set the pace, not follow it — creating a people-centric culture where innovation, wellbeing, and high performance go hand in hand.

At Hamilton Locke, we believe innovation starts with our people and this recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to creating an environment where our teams can do their best work.

Winners will be announced at the Law Society’s 2025 Gala Awards Evening on Friday, 7 November 2025.
