Hamilton Locke Appoints Two New Lateral Partners

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new lateral partners in our Sydney office. The lateral hires will bolster the firm with further expertise, including construction and infrastructure, and litigation, bringing the total number of partners in the firm to 18.

Veno Panicker joins the firm, having previously led the construction and infrastructure team at Blackstone Waterhouse. His expertise spans across major projects, working with infrastructure contractors and developers with a focus on renewables, civil works and mixed use projects. He previously worked at firms including Minter Ellison, Maddocks and DibbsBarker.

Ly Hoang joins the firm after having been a partner at Vincent Young, where she led the firm’s commercial litigation practice. She brings extensive experience acting for major financial institutions, corporations, shareholders, directors and other senior executives in corporate, banking and finance, insolvency and commercial litigation matters. Ly also previously worked at Morgan Stanley, DLA Piper, Maddocks and Dentons.

We are delighted to build on our existing capabilities with the addition of Veno and Ly. The addition of these two new partners to Hamilton Locke will provide our clients with extended access to legal and industry experts who are focused on solving complex problems.
