Monica is a lawyer in the Banking and Finance team and has acted for lenders and borrowers across general corporate lending, project finance, venture debt, and property finance.
Monica has well-rounded experience in litigation and transactional areas, having previously worked in both finance and property law, as well as commercial disputes and insolvency, where she assisted with novel and complex litigation. Consequently, Monica has developed a range of skills in advising, problem-solving, drafting, and negotiating, and takes a commercial approach to meeting client needs.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Monica worked at Mills Oakley Lawyers, Qantas, and the University of Sydney Office of General Counsel. She has also worked internationally at a tech start-up in San Francisco.
