Michael has a vast legal background with experience and expertise in complex construction, property and commercial matters.
Michael has experience in a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, with a focus primarily on high-value construction disputes. He has appeared before the Supreme, District and Local Courts of NSW along with the Federal Court of Australia and tribunals (NSW Civil & Administrative and Cth Administrative Appeals tribunals).
Michael prides himself on his strong eye for detail and the ability to provide practical legal solutions in a range of matters.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke Michael was Senior In-House Counsel with the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle as well as working in dispute resolution and commercial at boutique construction firm along with International law firms in Hong Kong in Construction & Commercial Litigation departments.
Before entering law Michael attained the rank of Senior Constable with New South Wales Police performing general duties and as a motorcyclist in traffic and highway patrol.
