Calvin recognises the privileged position lawyers have in being entrusted by clients with their commercial objectives, and he strives to further build on this trust by maintaining a shared vision while working to solve clients’ legal problems. Calvin enjoys the collaborative nature of legal work and approaches issues with pragmatism and commercial insight.
Calvin has broad experience in banking and finance, with a particular focus on commercial and business lending, real estate asset-based finance, insolvency and restructuring and other commercial transactions. He is proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Calvin worked for Sydney based commercial law firm Bartier Perry and also worked at Chinese-based international law firms.
