Hamilton Locke Promotes Sarah Gilkes to Partner

We are delighted to announce effective 1 January, 2021, Sarah Gilkes will be promoted to Partner, bringing the firm’s total number of partners to 22.

Sarah is an experienced commercial and intellectual property lawyer, focused on the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property and technology assets. She works with entrepreneurs and established businesses across a broad range of industries including technology, e-commerce, manufacturing, FMCG and entertainment. Sarah’s primary focus is on complex IP and technology transactions, including cross-border intellectual property licensing, distribution, software procurement and outsourcing arrangements. Sarah also acts in contentious IP matters, having represented clients in matters before the Federal Court and IP Australia, as well as in multi-jurisdictional IP disputes.
