Hamilton Locke is proud to announce we are an official partner of Ocean Impact Organisation (OIO). OIO is Australia’s first ocean impact ecosystem and startup accelerator, with a vision to create an abundant and sustainable ocean. Launching in February 2020 and based in Manly, Sydney, Australia, OIO was founded by “business with purpose” entrepreneur Nick Chiarelli and award-winning environmentalist Tim Silverwood.
Hamilton Locke will provide ongoing pro bono legal support to OIO in a range of areas, including general corporate advisory, intellectual property and technology.
We are also delighted to support The Ocean Impact PitchFest 2020, which is OIO’s inaugural campaign calling for applications from startups and innovators working to create a positive impact on Planet Ocean. Applications are now open and prizes include a $15,000 cash prize from Bank Australia, personal mentors and over $160,000 of support from the OIO Partner Network.
