Hamilton Locke is pleased to announce our COVID-19 vaccination initiatives to help support our staff through these challenging times.
As the vaccination situation in Australia continues to improve, Hamilton Locke has joined efforts with UNICEF to support low income countries that have yet to secure and are unlikely to secure COVID-19 vaccinations without our intervention. In support of UNICEF’s Give the World a Shot program, Hamilton Locke will cover the cost of supplying vaccinations for one person in low income countries for every staff member who gets vaccinated. If we hit an 80% vaccination rate, we will donate to support two people getting vaccinated per one staff member vaccinated.
We understand the recovery period post a COVID-19 vaccination has its challenges and are allocating one day of paid leave after each vaccination to rest and recover.
Furthermore, between now and when lockdown ends, Hamilton Locke is giving all staff an additional half-day paid leave for a “digital detox”. This is designed to encourage our staff members to switch off – go for a walk, swim, cook something new, take a relaxing bath or do a puzzle.
At Hamilton Locke, we are driven by maximising our ‘people experience’ – PX and creating a vibrant culture where our people can thrive. Our COVID-19 initiatives are intended to support our people, and provide them with continued support during these times of uncertainty.
