Hamilton Locke acted for Midwinter Financial Services on its acquisition by ASX-listed financial software vendor, Bravura Solutions. Sydney-based Midwinter develops the financial planning software AdviceOS, which offers back office administration for financial advisers and self-directed digital advice portals for superannuation funds. The total consideration for the acquisition was A$50m.
The team at Hamilton Locke was led by partner Gordon McCann and assisted by lawyer Morgan Sheargold. Midwinter was also advised by Ernst & Young.
